Description

The convoluted crevasses and icefalls that comprise the Adams Glacier usually offer a reasonable route on the west (skier's left). Seasonal variations can increase the difficulty of this route. It is important to either climb it or study it closely by visual inspection before descending. One thing that has remained consistent is a large bergschrund near the top. Usually there are a few sections of 50° snow split by more moderate terrain.
