Detail

Description

Besides the Easton Glacier, the Coleman-Deming is the most popular route on Mount Baker, often done as a long day or as a pleasant two day trip. In early season some road may be required to ski, but often you are able to descend all the way to your car. In Spring, a few miles of trail may have to be walked. The route is traversy for skis, but the views all but make up for it. The descent down the Roman Wall offers spectacular sights of the Easton and Squak Glaciers. Dropping to the east of Colfax Peak a few nice rolls are broken up by large flat expanses. Skiers ski this route year round.
