Description
There are several chutes that connect the Upper and Lower Curtis Glacier, offering steep ski descents in the alpine cirque on the south side of upper Shuksan Arm. However, the lines are all plagued by some objective danger due to icefall from the Upper Curtis Glacier. The chute on skier's right, "Curtis Blow," features the least objective danger because only a fraction of it is exposed to the hangfire.

A conservative value of the Local Relief is given here. One could theoretically ski to Baker Lake for more than 7,800 ft, but the likelihood of such a descent ever being made is very small.
