Sierra Nevada

The Sierra Nevada Mountain range is a batholitic mountain range extending approximately 400 miles from Southern to Northern California and parts of Nevada. It is composed mostly of granite. It features areas of large relief on the eastern extent and gradual inclines on the Western extent with considerably less relief.
